Halloween

So we took our little Bumblebee over to the Brittons house for Halloween. it was a pretty big crew, with the Mercer grandparents in town, Addie and Mason, and the Britton kids and their great neighbors.




Pre-game meal with Addie (bumblebee), Eden (black cat with bunny ears), Malachi (Ty Lawson), Provi (Starbucks barista), and Sam (Woody).

Addie was totally fine, shocked, but good to go. i asked her if she wanted to keep going and she didn't hesitate to take off after Woody.

Pumpkin Patch (Mason's first!)

When Mason was just 1 week old & I (Kassie) was feeling good, we decided to take advantage of a beautiful fall morning & not being at work in the middle of the week...we went to the pumpkin patch. It was fantastic! We first drove to the field & picked out a "family" of pumpkins. Addie was more interested in picking up dirt & rocks, but at least she enjoyed it.





It was kinda cold so Mason had to experience it all while bundled in his car seat.

Next we went to the main area which has animals, a maze made of hay bales, a bounce castle & a large air-filled slide. We thought Addie would love the animals, but after trying the slide, it was all she wanted to do. Fortunately there weren't too many other people there, so she could slide to her hearts content (and until she was completely worn out!)
