Her room is done!...well almost

We've just about finished painting Addie's room. After living in our house for a year, we finally decided on an idea and after a month it's just about finished...yay!

look what I did!

So today Addie found a marker in a drawer & decided to put it on...just like mommy's lipstick! There was not a spot of marker anywhere else (thankfully!) and I even found the marker, with the cap put back, on sitting in the drawer!

The newest love of Addie...coloring with crayons. Mommy, on the other hand, loves the Crayola washable crayons!

Not Always An Angel!

It seems like everyone that knows Addie thinks she's really well-behaved, even our babysitters (thanks Mollie and Katie!), but lately, Addie has had her moments:

So last week we visited our awesome friends Carrie and Christian and their newborn son Pete. While visiting with them, Addie showed us a glimpse of what the "terrible two's" could hold in store for us.

Addie was sure that Mommy would let her hold little Pete:



"What?! I can't hold the real newborn baby?!"



"then i'll just sit here and cry while daddy takes pictures"



"oh wait, pictures of me? i love pictures of me!"

"everyone knows i'm a pro when it comes to smiling"



And that solved the problem! Addie played nice after having her picture taken.
